John Steinert Utilizes A Collaborative, Team-Based Approach

A persuasive communicator and visionary leader, John Steinert has immense experience working with leading educational institutes, including Woodland Middle School (Gurnee, IL), Highland Middle School (Libertyville), and Deer Path Middle School (Lake Forest, Illinois).  He has exceptional time management, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills, along with an ability to learn new technologies. He utilizes a collaborative, team-based approach to achieve common, shared goals. Moreover, he is a highly organized person, with a keen instinct for problem resolution and adapts to changing circumstances quite easily. He has complete knowledge of Learning Management Systems such as Articulate, Moodle and Digital Chalk. John Steinert has held numerous roles throughout his distinguished career, such as Trainer of Talent, Change Agent, Visionary leader and Management Professional. As a Change Agent, he undertook the responsibility for indentifying, planning and executing the needs for training, performance and educational programs. He located and recommended available resources/vendors to achieve organizational objectives and improve employee development. He developed a $425, 000 technology initiative which involved the implementation of 1-1 netbook project within the delivery of rigorous curriculum. He also designed a highly efficient online evaluation system which resulted into a 20 percent increase in the achievement of goals. Aside from that, John Steinert also facilitated training on staff personality assessments which allowed stakeholders to get perspective and improve employee relationships. As a Recruiter of Talent, he led over 130 staff members including certified, non-certified and support staff. He identified right candidates from databases, directories, personal networking etc., and oversaw the hiring process from the first point of contact through acceptance of job offer. Apart from that, he also mentored and coached staff members toward the achievement of organizational goals and helped other administrators learn about policies, issues and processes in HR procedures. Under his leadership, the overall retention rate of staff increased by 60 percent in 5 years, resulting into huge budget and training savings for the organization. In addition to being a successful professional, John Steinert takes interest in social welfare. He has been a Sunday School teacher and Habitat for Humanity Volunteer. A fitness enthusiast, John exercises on regular basis to stay fit and healthy. In his free time, he plays golf and basketball, and also enjoys reading a good book.
